We are incredibly proud to announce that 14 exceptional SheCanCODE Bootcamp participants have earned their Scrum certifications!
As we bid farewell to an impactful year, Igire Rwanda Organization, through its SheCanCODE Bootcamp, proudly celebrates a significant milestone in collaboration with our esteemed partner, Article26. Together, we continue to break barriers, foster innovation, and equip young women with the tools they need to thrive in the tech industry.
Under the expert guidance of Obed BIGIRIMANA, Article26 delivered dynamic and interactive Scrum training sessions to participants of the SheCanCODE Bootcamp. These hands-on sessions not only introduce participants to the core principles of Agile methodologies but also empowered them to reimagine how they approach projects, problem-solving, and collaboration.
We are thrilled to announce that 14 participants successfully earned their Scrum certifications! Scrum, a framework rooted in Agile principles, focuses on delivering value incrementally through adaptive and iterative processes. By mastering Scrum, these young women are now equipped with the skills to effectively manage projects, develop products, and lead teams in both small-scale and large-scale environments.
This achievement underscores the mission of SheCanCODE Bootcamp: to promote diversity and inclusion in technology by offering advanced computer programming and professional training to young women in Rwanda. Implemented by Igire Rwanda Organization, SheCanCODE not only provides a robust 16-week training program in coding but also focuses on soft skills development, career readiness, and mentorship to ensure that its graduates are fully prepared for the workforce.
Our partnership with Article26 represents a shared commitment to making professional education accessible to all. Article26, inspired by the UN Declaration of Human Rights, strives to connect global companies, NGOs, learners, and educational institutions to provide ambitious learners with free access to award-winning e-learning resources. This collaboration has enabled SheCanCODE graduates to enhance their professional skills and increase their employability in the ever-evolving tech ecosystem.
Looking ahead, Igire Rwanda Organization and Article26 are excited to announce a long-term partnership that will ensure all future trainees of the SheCanCODE Bootcamp benefit from this impactful collaboration. By integrating technical and soft skills training, we are paving the way for more transformative learning experiences that empower young women to lead, innovate, and succeed.
We believe that diverse and inclusive teams are key to driving innovation. It is heartening to see more women stepping into leadership roles and expanding their skillsets in technology.
Hereβs to celebrating more successes and creating meaningful opportunities for young women in 2025 and beyond! π
